It was important to me that this piece for bass voices be infused with a spirituality of nature. The piano and djembe create an atmosphere that is at once playful and reverent while the choir explores our bond with nature. Moments of mixed meter and shifting tonality drive the piece forward and give your singers, of any level, something to sink their teeth into.
